So, I have two friends that come to mind when I hear the word passion. I follow one girl's blog, and every time she posts, it's all about one thing: her passions. She has an unending passion for what she does and what she wants to do. It's so amazing to see this come out in her blog, but also in her actual life. And her passion for what is to come, even before it is even close to coming to fruition, is inspiring.
My other friend doesn't have a blog or anything that I can see her passion. I can hear it though every time I talk to her. She has a passion for her summer job right now that rivals that of, I don't know, Gandhi? Okay, so she's not Gandhi, but still, her passion for what she's doing is great! I got to see it firsthand a while ago, and it was wonderful.
Why do I blog about this? You don't know these people (actually, some of you do) but I bet one day you're all going to be influenced because of something they started within the world. I want to get to that point someday. I used to have a passion like theirs for something, but that passionate fire has died within my soul. I'm not too upset over it, passions die sometimes with maturation, but another passion will rise from the ashes (eww, corny). My fire is still burning out. There are a few embers left, so, it could flare back up, but I'm thinking it's just going to take a little bit longer to burn out before my new passion rises up. I feel it a bit, but it's not fully developed yet. I'm ready for it though, whatever it may be. I need it.
