So, dear followers and hidden readers and guests, the big news of the day is life is coming...and it's coming fast. In my opinion, Forrest's Mama got it wrong. I mean, at least a box of chocolates has a map of what is supposed to be in each compartment. Life? There is no special map or diagram or clue as to what is where.
But, that being said, I think I'm learning to like it. The unknown has always been an interest/curiosity of mine, and the more I'm seeing of it (if that makes sense) the more I'm beginning to welcome it.
Bring it on life. I can handle you. (Just be gentle.)
In other news, I have started my Graduate Assistant position for the upcoming year. My title (and new email signature of course) is "Office of Residence Life - First Year Involvement Writing Center and Academic Support Graduate Assistant". Or, FYI Writing Center Coordinator.
Right now I'm kind of on my own. My site supervisor is extremely busy with Res Life training and helping the other GA in my office with all of her people. So, I'm just left here to plan training for the 5 writing tutors I'll be supervising. ((Apparently I have time to blog too....)).
Oh, I've also moved in to my new place. I'll post pics as soon as I get email at the apartment. I'm loving it. And my roommate is finally moved in and sleeping here. Woohoo. I'm not alone anymore, haha.
Anyway, that is all.
