This hurts my heart.
Of course because I identify with this population of humans, but also because it's just plain wrong. When did degrading, humiliating, and harming another person become acceptable?
And this isn't the only place it's happening.
But it me fear for the athletes all coming into Russia for what is supposed to be a worldwide, shared experience of competition, fun, and peacefulness.
I don't have a solution. I don't have any advice. I just know that it hurts. And I don't like it.
